Meet Michelle

Michelle A. Daniel is an Executive Producer, Showrunner, Screenwriter, and the founder of ShowRunHer. With more than 17 years of experience across film, television, and digital media, she has built a career creating, developing, producing, marketing, and monetizing content across multiple platforms.

Her professional experience includes work connected to TV One, Bossip, Headline Heat, iOne Creative Class, MadameNoire, HelloBeautiful, and the Bossip YouTube channel. Her independent films and projects have been recognized and screened at prominent festivals, including the American Black Film Festival, BronzeLens Film Festival, Cannes, HollyShorts, and more.

Michelle also created the hit digital series BETWEEN WOMEN and transformed its audience into the six-figure subscription platform Between Women TV Network — giving her firsthand experience in building an audience, monetizing original content, and creating opportunities outside the traditional studio system.

Michelle understands filmmaking from both the creative and business sides. She has navigated project development, production, audience growth, investor outreach, brand partnerships, marketing, distribution, and intellectual-property ownership.

Through ShowRunHer+, Michelle shares the strategies, lessons, resources, and real-world knowledge she has gained throughout her career. Her mission is to help filmmakers move beyond simply completing projects and begin thinking like producers, strategists, and owners.
